In today’s digital age, a photographer has some control over depth and detail in his/her camera. Prior to late 20th century, photographers were able to control effects through the darkroom process, generating higher contrast and detail if needed. Few realize that the skills acquired in imaging software require time, trial and error, plus a foreseen result. Highlights may seem overblown & darks may seem to leave out important details, but that’s intentional, and don’t let it stage your judgement.
If you can see past some of the unreal effects and enjoy each photo for its contents, not its outfit, you will surely enjoy your experience. I have enjoyed each one of their contents physically and emotionally; I hope you can do the same, too.
